independent spirit as the music represented. Looking to the near future, Whitelight
plans to establish an exhibition and permanent gallery space at the new operation

Formerly
a successful fashion designer, Barbara Wardle-Williams has pursued the idea
of style and intricate design in these unique images, each entirely created
by hand. Based in Spain and then France, she is Influenced by Gaudi and a fascination
with saints and icons is reflected in her work.
Helen
Lake
Working
predominantly in photography but incorporating other fine art disciplines into
her work, Helen Lake is interested in the potential of the image to evoke intimate
memories and emotions, as well as the possibility of narrative. Through seemingly
insignificant objects and fleetingly seen moments, she seeks to capture a sense
of absence, a clue that life has passed through or around them, to create an
emotional impact.
Lisa
anne Dudley
Lisa's
work intends to explore the intrinsic nature of memory and how it works. A memory
is not always an accurate recollection of an event, place or person, so we keep
photographs, objects, mementos which can act as a trigger for that memory. She
takes on the role of the observer, investigator, collector and curator of these
found and collected objects. She is also interested in how objects and events
can appear to have been haunted by a previous existence.
