Established in 1991by the musician Tim Bewlay, House of Whitelight began as a small collective group of musicians, writers and artists who wanted to maintain artistic control over their output.
Tim Bewlay has been a professional musician for twenty years. He is a guitarist, singer, writer and producer who has achieved success both recording and playing live. He also designed and built the Whitelight recording studio.
After writing and producing solo material, Tim has performed all over the world and collaborated with a wide range of artistes including touring with The Quireboys and recording a Top Ten single with Blueboy. In the late nineties, he formed Dogkennel Hill and the band have released two critically acclaimed albums.
Whitelight Studios have now relocated to Brittany in France, where Tim will maintain the studio facility and augment it with a prestige rehearsal space and accomodation. A gallery space will follow and he is currently writing and exploring ideas for the third Dogkennel Hill album.
